About Me
My name is Emily Taylor, I am a fully certified and insured Equine Massage Therapist based in the High Peak, Derbyshire.
I have a BSc in Equine Psychology and Sports Science and a Certificate in Equine Integrative Support Therapies.
My goal is to improve as many horses' welfare as possible whilst also improving owner knowledge.

Massage can aid in:
-
relieving muscle tension and stiffness
-
reducing pain & spasms
-
improving joint flexibility & Range of Motion
-
increasing circulation
-
reducing build up of fluids
-
reducing psychological stress in horses.

The aim of my therapy is not to focus on the "new injury" but to investigate the accumulation of injuries over time.
Psychological tension can also manifest as a result of physical tension which can often be misinterpreted as bad behaviour or vices.
This tension often causes a chain reaction on opposing muscles or diagonals - which is why I aim to investigate the bigger picture to stop the pain at the source.

Massage has huge physical and mental benefits. By increasing circulation we increase the supply of good nutrients, dispel toxins and increase oxygen supply to muscles leading to enhanced performance and decreased recovery time.

Regular treatments can bring about significant improvement in the horses health & performance, and can be reflected in their everyday activities.
